What happens next

Submit the form below using the email associated with your account. We verify ownership before deleting anything, so someone knowing your email cannot delete your account. We may ask you to reply from that address; do not upload identity documents here.

What is deleted

After verification, we remove your recruiter profile, sign-in sessions, sign-in links and organization memberships. If you are the only active member of an organization, its assessments, candidates, code, results and photos can also be deleted as part of your confirmed request. For a shared organization, we arrange ownership transfer where needed and remove or anonymize your personal account references without deleting other members’ work.

If you are a candidate, describe the assessment and the organization that invited you. We review that data request with the organization responsible for the assessment. Its ordinary retention period is 180 days after closing, or earlier when deleted. We explain any lawful retention that applies to your request.

Projects and backups

Projects and settings saved in your browser or Android browser profile are local to your device. Export anything you want to keep before clearing WriteCode’s site data. A server account deletion cannot clear other devices remotely.

Deleted server data may remain in restricted backup copies until they expire, normally within 30 days. Backups are used for recovery, not to restore a deleted account to active use. Any legally required retention will be explained when handling your request.
